After 22 years producing premium events for a broad range of clients, often on a repeat basis, we are currently undergoing a full agency rebrand, including analysis of our forward looking vision and business strategy.


We are looking to build on our accomplishments to date, whilst evolving our offering to ensure the experiences we design and produce continue to captivate and inspire discerning brand audiences. This means that now is a pivotal moment in time to join the team.


About this Role:


We are currently looking for a dynamic Commercial Director to join our team and play a central part in driving our thriving events business forward.

The successful candidate will be a strong and visionary leader who can take our agency to the next level. This means maintaining our growth trajectory whilst navigating the constantly shifting marketplace. You will direct business strategy: both expanding existing accounts and creating new commercial initiatives and partnerships. You will look to new technologies and events services that can enhance our premium offering and ensure it is rooted in current trends and expectations for the future.


The Commercial Director will work very closely with our owner and Managing Director, our Client Services Director, and our Events Director. You will have an overview of all areas of our business and be responsible for overall management and mentoring of the team which is integral to the success of the business going forward. This means leading a highly motivated, extremely creative and hard-working group of people, inspiring and developing talent, and fostering a culture of learning and growth.


You’ll be joining one of the country’s top creative events agencies – working with a broad range of global brands on a variety of high profile events. There are no limits to our ambitions and no limits to this role.


About You:


The ideal candidate will be an established Commercial Director looking to take on a new challenge in an exciting and face-paced agency.


You should be an ambitious and highly motivated individual with a proactive and focused approach to generating opportunities and securing new business. You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability build strong client relationships and provide valuable creative counsel. You should have extensive experience working with high profile brands in sectors ranging from fashion and beauty, to automotive and technology.  And ideally you will bring with you a robust and impressive portfolio.

You will have considerable experience working within a creative agency and direct knowledge of the events industry will be highly beneficial. You should possess exemplary experience of project management, negotiation and marketing.


The successful candidate must understand the strategic importance of events in the marketing and communications mix. You will also have some direct experience of developing the creative approach and implementing the smooth operational delivery of a number of different events. He/ she should have a clear sense of how to design and produce something bold, visionary and commercial, along with a strong aspiration to innovate and originate on an ongoing basis.


It is vital that you have successful experience of leading a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team: nurturing creativity, ensuring effective collaboration and overseeing successful operational delivery.
