GQ Men of the Year Awards 2017

GQ Men of The Year 20th Anniversary

Tate Modern, London
5 September 2017

GQ asked us to produce  their 20th annual awards ceremony to celebrate some of the most accomplished and inspiring men on the planet.

Within just hours we transformed the awards’ iconic venue, London’s Tate Modern, into a meticulous masterpiece. The suspended red carpet guided guests into the Turbine Hall, lined with a model army wearing Hugo Boss suits, illuminated by GQ branded spotlights.

Sergei Polunin opened the ceremony with a mesmerising ballet performance set to Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ ‘Jesus Alone’, as guests dined on dished prepared by Michelin Starred Chef Jason Atherton and sipped on ‘Man of the Sour’ cocktails by category sponsor Copper Dog.

Host Mark Strong then took to the stage to congratulate this year’s award winners including Stormzy, Mark Hamill, Pelé, Sir Geoff Hurst, the cast of Stranger Things, Liam Gallagher and Sadiq Khan.

The electric vibes of the evening pulsed into the night as guests, including Jared Leto, Courtney Love, Idris Elba and Poppy Delevingne, danced to the sounds of DJ Jodie Harsh under a giant glowing GQ.

Twenty years, TWENTY YEARS! Can't quite believe that we have worked with you and your amazing team for these past twenty years. 2017 was no exception, as always, you delivered a flawless show. It looked superb. Your attention to detail is second to none and yet again you upped the game.” - Events Director, GQ
