Glamour Beauty Festival 2017

Saatchi Gallery, London.

11-12 March 2017.

"Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Building on the success of the previous year, Glamour were looking to bring the beauty pages to life once more, but this time on a more voluptuous scale. Glamour Beauty Festival – the beauty event of the year, returned to London’s Saatchi Gallery hosting experts, celebrities and beauty industry insiders in a veritable pampering theme park.

The sophisticated calm white space of the Chelsea gallery provided a treatment room like backdrop which was given a makeover of its own with striking pops of red throughout from the graphics of the inspirational wall quotes, to the exceptionally generous goodie bag.

The beauty industry’s most renowned professionals took to two stages with motivating masterclasses and inspirational insider tips. Famous faces included TV’s Fearne Cotton, Lorraine Pascale and X-factor’s Dermot O’Leary and Louisa Johnston. Amongst others in attendance were iconic hair and make-up duo Sam McKnight and Mary Greenwell and model-of-the-moment Winnie Harlow.

Ensuring everyone got the star treatment, an entire beauty world was showcased in engaging zones covering hair, nails, fragrance, skin, make-up, and new for 2017, wellness. Spread over three floors, the huge variety of treatment rooms meant guests could indulge in iconic makeup looks, statement styles and nourishing treatments, all whilst browsing the stands of the world’s top beauty brands such as NARS, Estée Edit, Elizabeth Arden, Laura Mercier, Caudalie and Redken.

Whether whilst fixing a false lash flutter or simply beautifying brows, guests were spoilt for choice in choosing where to pose. At the Fiat pool party experience with DJ music, gelato van, parasols and the chance to have their own glamour shoot or at Estee Edit’s instagram experience, where the guests could create a moment to style, shoot and share their decision to gloss or glow across social media.

"Thank you very much for all your hard work in creating the Glamour Beauty Festival – the brand and readers loved it. It is, as always, a pleasure to work with you all."
