Summer 2016 was the perfect platform for Sunglass Hut to launch their campaign, Shades of You, which celebrated different styles and fashion personalities. The luxury eyewear retailer approached us to design and produce a fun and vibrant brand activation to further the social outreach of their campaign.


The experiential campaign took place in 4 locations, including Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, Old Trafford Centre in Manchester and Covent Garden and Oxford Circus in London. The pop-up burst in to action through a Sunglass Hut branded trailer, which travelled to each venue, whilst the brand activation also took over a store in Oxford Circus and Bluewater Shopping Centre.


Shoppers, passers-by and fashionistas were invited to peruse the vast selection of sunglasses as brand activities took place throughout each location. Adapting to each venue, the brand activities included Voga, a stylish nail bar, candy floss, ice-pops, prosecco and smoothies. Trendy DJs played to reflect each atmosphere, venue and location.  


Influential fashion bloggers Patricia Bright, Fleur De Force, Pandora Sykes, Sarah Ashcroft, Andy Samuels and Erika Bowes attended the activations, meeting fans and giving fashion tips and advice on the latest Sunglass Hut collection.


Sunglass Hut fans took to twitter as they enjoyed stretching out to Voga in Covent Garden and sipping brightly coloured smoothies whilst shopping. A brand campaign which seized the summer and created an immersive and exciting experience for shoppers.
