Team GB: The Great British Olympic Quiz

“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”
- Muhammad Ali

Team GB wanted to host a fundraising evening that was at once fun, stylish and unmistakably British. So what could be better than a high-profile pub quiz? And, with nearly two decades’ experience designing and producing inspiring events of all shapes and sizes, we knew just how to approach this challenge.

We chose LSO St Luke’s as the venue. With its historic architecture and exposed brickwork, we created the perfect mix of gastropub style with old-school furnishings.

The décor was essential to the theme. Our ‘pub’ featured vintage beer barrels, long wooden tables and benches, and a classic bar on the stage. And who better to stand behind it than Al Murray, the Pub Landlord?

The guest list of 220 included celebrities; past, present and future Olympians; and Team GB donors, partners and patrons.

“Delivering such a dramatically different event was something Team GB was measured about doing and hesitant...but your team excelled.”
- Team GB

Once everything was in place, it was time to get started. As guests arrived, they were treated to a drinks reception, followed by a ‘Best of British’-themed meal and a generous supply of ale and wine.

With interactive keypads on the tables, quick-fire picture rounds and, of course, a good dose of comedy, the Great British Olympic Quiz kept everyone well fed and well entertained.
