VIKTOR & ROLF: CELEBRITY DINNER FOR THE FLOWERBOMB LAUNCH

Creative Event Brief:

To create a dinner party to celebrate the product launch of the Viktor & Rolf FLOWERBOMB fragrance for the Dutch design duo Viktor and Rolf.

Event Planning and Approach:

Timebased chose the Elms Lester painting rooms and created an element of surprise in contrast with the luxury feminine opulence of the fragrance. The venue was challenging and because the space for a dining table was so narrow, Timebased built a bespoke table and brought in all lighting and dressing, as well as a portable kitchen and generator for power. The venue was dressed with ribbons and seals over the walls while the floor was lined in a pink carpet to emulate the FLOWERBOMB fragrance’s luxury packaging.

Event Management Results:

The event was attended by an eclectic mix of friends including Bryan Adams, Mary McCartney and Grayson Perry. Coverage in media included Hello, Harpers Bazaar and ES magazine. Timebased have since produced all future fragrance launches for Viktor & Rolf FLOWERBOMB as well as the men's fragrance launches for Antidote.
