BEHIND-THE-SCENES AT THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE

Due to our close and continued relationship with Royal Opera House, we were delighted to be able to invite a number of our clients on a venue visit with a difference.

The Royal Opera House, synonymous with the glittering worlds of ballet and opera, has hosted some of the most star-studded, lavish and glamorous events in the global calendar, including the BAFTA Awards, London Fashion Week and the GQ Men of the Year Awards.

Few brands have had the opportunity to see every space in this stunning building. However, for one day only, we were able to couple the unveiling of various event spaces within the Opera House, with a once in a lifetime backstage tour of the venue and the opportunity for our clients to discover the perfect spaces for their future events.

The afternoon tour included the opportunity to watch the two principal dancers in Swan Lake, Sarah lamb and Federico Bonelli, rehearse their breath-taking and intimate duet from the benches of the rehearsal room; an experience usually only reserved for directors.

Those who then joined us for the evening tour were entertained with an operatic recital in the elegant Crush Room. Soprano Madeleine Pierard, Mezzo-soprano Kai Rüütel and pianist David Gowland gave stunning performances of Bel Raggio Lusinghier from Semiramide, Séguidille from Carmen and Flower duet from Lakme. Everyone was enchanted by their exquisite voices.
